Videos - Evaluation Tape
 Due to bandwidth and space requirements, it is not yet
feasible or cost effective for us to show streaming video
on the web in more than low resolution. The evaluation tape is standard VHS
quality, but still may not be equal to what was submitted and judged. However, We believe seeing what others have done and what works and
impresses the judges is important to entrants. The video has all the video
entries in the order in which they were received.
Winners can be determined by the press release. This year a video will be made
available upon request with the following conditions:
- The video will be available to entrants,
prospective entrants, sponsors, and charitable beneficiaries of the competition to evaluate your work against other entrants, and for sponsors to see
the work for which they have donated prizes.
- The video will be available for a $25 donation to
Underwater Images plus $5 for shipping and handling. Proceeds benefit the
marine education and environmental charities of the competition.

- IMPORTANT
- The evaluation videos may NOT be publicly
viewed, resold, copied, or broadcast in any way, and use is strictly for
personal evaluation. Only with advance express permission, the video may be
shown for promotion of the Underwater Images competition itself, by anyone
other than the staff of Underwater Images. All other use
will require express written permission of the individual copyright holders of
the videos contained on the tape, in accordance with the rules of the
competition. Anyone wanting the contact information for the copyright holders
may contact director@uwimages.org
with your request which will be forwarded to the videographer entrant.
- The video will only be available in VHS (NTSC) format.
