Underwater Images Contributes for 2008
Proceeds from the Underwater Images Photo-Video Competition
are donated to causes that meet the
education and conservation mission of the organization.
For the 2008 Competition, the following Donation were made.
Thank you to all the entrants, sponsors, and volunteers who
make this possible.
$4,000 donated to
Mahonia Na Dari for marine
conservation education in Papua New Guinea.
The Presentation was made at DEMA, in Fall 2008.

$1,000 was donated to DiveHeart in
conjunction with OCSSDI for dive training of an Ohio Veteran.
This money was raised through the competition and
participation with OCSSDI at the Scubafest show.

A $500 Donation was made to
M.A.S.T. (Maritime
Archaeological Survey Team), and Ohio organization dedicated
to the preservation of shipwrecks in the Great Lakes. The donation will
assist in
Conservation of Lake Erie Shipwrecks. The presentation was
made at the Shipwrecks and Scuba show in November, 2008
The money was raised in cooperation with the
OCSSDI at Scubafest 2008.
